Health Care Reform – Changes in Health Benefits

As of October 1, 2010, carriers are changing their health benefits to comply with new federal laws. Some of the changes are:

100% coverage for certain preventive care delivered from network providers
There is no overall dollar amount on how much carriers will pay for lifetime maximums
Dependent children can now enroll in your plan up to age 26
Coverage for dependents to age 19 will include services to treat pre-existing conditions
