Born and raised in the Seattle area, Dave has over 35 years of experience working with employers and individuals in various lines of insurance and financial services products. He was a founding partner with a local insurance broker called Compass Consulting Group. His primary focus was consulting with small and medium-sized employers to assist them with implementing employee benefit programs which included cafeteria and pension plans. In 2011, he and his partners sold their agency interest to Brown and Brown, a large national insurance brokerage, and Dave worked there until May of 2015.
Preferring to operate as part of a smaller local agency, Dave chose to again create his own agency with a focus on small- and medium-sized employers. Now, Dave joins Cummings, Fraser, and Associates as Partner and Owner in the firm. Dave serves on the Broker Advisory Committee for Delta Dental of Washington and BerniePortal, is a member of the Association of Washington Business and West Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
When not working, Dave enjoys spending time with his daughters and family. He enjoys many outdoor activities including pickleball, hiking, camping, kayaking and mountain biking.
